A digital art collage series by artist Dawn Tree composes archived photos with newer images depicting before, during & after the 1921 Race Massacre that destroyed a once economically thriving community in Greenwood, Tulsa, Oklahoma.This place was known as America’s Black Wall Street. These images are also inspired by present journalistic findings from the community, botanical elements and Tree’s imagination. 11 piece series (prints available on store)
